Fire Emblem Engage (Spoiler Thread) (2024)

Per this post from the general Fire Emblem thread, there is a good chance that leaks of Fire Emblem Engage will start to appear online as someone has gotten the Special Version of the game early.

As such, I figured it'd be best to create a spoiler thread for the game so anyone who wants to talk about leaks and spoilers can do so here without bothering those who want to remain unspoiled in the main thread.

Alfred obsess with Boucherons muscles and the model being unable to properly convey it will be super funny. I’ve already seen his hand doesn’t touch his waist to make clear how thicc he’s supposed to be when working as staff in Somniel.

At the very least they did model abs so him and Vander have those, but they’re definitely meant to be more muscular than the models will convey.

Oh, and the DLC waves are also gonna add free stuff to Engage it seems, even if it's kinda minimal (right now it adds smithing stones for you to use right away and that's it).

EDIT: They also claim Mauvier does have a stamp on his page of the artbook, which 100% means Veyle's most likely stuck in NPC-hell.

Heard Zephia already showing Bad Boss tendencies in the first 8 chapters. A chapter boss is executed for failure and begs for his life from hire I hear

Edit: Okay the death flags for Lumerra are even funnier knowing that her Emblem was Sigurd. Sure give an FE parent the Protagonist who dies in his own game just to add more death flags.

If you're talking about specific hue, this is more of Inconsistent Coloring due to the Emblems being spirits.

Also the hair color brought about by Emblems is due to the gemstones color that embodies Houses.

Also Zephia had honest to god no clue that Alear even existed before they started their ring-collecting quest, which raises even more questions about who Alear is and what's truly their past.

Edit: Gonna talk about something else shown in previews and my thoughts about it:

There is no way in hell there isn't some time shenanigans going on with the game given there's a Premonition chapter a the very start like Awakening. And on a related note, while I know Sombron is the Fell Dragon and all, dude being a huge stand-in for Validar in that same chapter has me convinced he's not gonna be the Final Boss once all's been said and done.

I've joked about Sombron's dragon form looking like a flagship monster from Monster Hunter before, but if he turns out to NOT be the final boss, I will laugh a little, because anyone who's played a Monster Hunter game knows that the flagship monster is NEVER the final boss of their game.

Alright these are gonna be the last leaks that come from me since anon's gonna start covering stuff not covered by the embargo next time they go active:

STORY SPOILERS ABOUT VEYLE (which everyone saw coming): veyle is searching for her sister, which is probably alear judging by how some convos have happened so far in the game, everyone seems to think lumera had no children, so my guess is veyle/alear are sisters and daughters of sombron. Do note the leaker showed no proof of this reveal, so there's a good chance this info could very well be fake.

Oh, and the leaker finally posted Mauvier's full concept art from the artbook and IT TURNS OUT no one from the Four Hounds + Veyle have stamps. Make of that what you will.

I cannot say for certain about that. I feel like they never really have one video (or set of videos) where both Alear are present at the same time, instead rotating who is in control (like female Alear is in the Emblem Ring overview, but then male Alear is in the overall overview). Female Alear does get to appear in the cutscene footages, but male Alear had an entire story trailer. The one thing female Alear probably has over male Alear is her being in the Somniel footages, but you can probably guess why.

Last spoiler from my part because this somehow happens very early on like, Chapter 11 levels of early (sharing only because everyone kind of saw this coming already): Veyle is evil◊ and is indeed leading the 4 Hounds. She's the one who killed Lumera, and later helps bring back her daddy while also corrupting Emblem Marth and make a gazillion copies of him somehow???◊.So yeah, this is why the Embargo starts as early as Chapter 8.

Yeah. She's very much meant to be Alear's opposite, as the latter's promoted class gives them access to Swords and Brawling/arts instead.
