They tried that scam on me. Out of curiosity, I bought the honey suggested from the 7-11 where the scammer was conveniently positioned. He then wanted me to follow him down a nearby Soi. That is when I told him no, and walked off. I gave the honey, (but no money), to one of the bar girls in Tree Town.

Here in Phra Khanong the US AQI is at 22, and with the wind at 18 km/h the air flow is cooling to the soul.

Indians at it again. About 8 years ago I had the same scam used on me by 4 Indians on sukhumvit near Landmark Hotel in BKK. They were most confused, and shocked when I ignored them at first, and then told them to go forth and multiply in Hindi.

I personally saw this scam happening a lot while I was in Pattaya April through June. It shocked me how many Arab/Indian men were being escorted in and out of that herbal shop every time I walked by. Some of them were arguing and pissed as they had obviously been scammed.

How stupid do you have to be to fall for a scam like this one? Why even engage with random fools on the street? I don’t feel sorry for any one of sound mind that can’t see how ridiculous this is.

lol, I met those scammers they wanted to sell me hair lotion coming from a pharmacy to regrow hair. Obviously they were up to no good.

Have been offered this con many times in India. The relentless persistence brings out my worst side. Sorry to learn it's happening in Thailand.

LOL!! Someone tried to do this scam to me when I was there last time about 4 months ago.. He pointed out my baldness and said I should use coconut oil and he was a bit bald too and showed me how it had grown hair back for him. We talked briefly cuz i dont get scammed easily and so I often have a quick chat with the scammers and he said we can just go to the 7/11 and grab some coconut oil and he can show me the one to get. Then I said nah buddy lol and left.
I thought the scam would be I would buy the coconut oil and because he was so kind and showed me the one to get then I should give him a tip.. but no the scam is in the video above lol. He was a middle eastern looking and sounding guy... not Thai.
